Police Officer (full time)
The City of Lexington, Nebraska is accepting applications to fill an opening for the position of Police Officer. The Lexington Police Department maintains a force of 21 fulltime sworn officers. Black and white patrol cars/SUVs, patrol rifles, Taser, and iPads are utilized by the department.
Qualifications for the position include the following:
● obtain Certification through the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center
● be at least 21 years of age;
● be a U.S. citizen;
● have ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays
● have a high school diploma or GED;
● have a valid Nebraska driver’s license with good driving record;
● have no felony, serious misdemeanor convictions, domestic charges or dishonorable discharges from the military service
A thorough background investigation, TABE and Psychological testing will be conducted.
Duties of the position are consistent with Municipal Law Enforcement. Salary based on

Temporary Seasonal Workers: Parks and Recreation, Street
The City of Lexington Park and Recreation Departments are now taking Applications for Part-time Summer Help. Positions fill fast and training begins in the spring, so get your application in right away!
Applications will be accepted until Friday, February 23, 2018. Positions available include:
● Concession Workers (age 14+)
● Lifeguards (age 15+)
● Park Maintenance (age 16+)
● Street Maintenance (age 16+)
