Street Maintenance Worker
Department: Street Department (Community Services)

Brief Description:
The Street Maintenance Worker will perform a variety of duties relating to repair and upkeep of the City’s streets, alleys, sidewalks, walks, etc., including street cleaning, grading and snow removal.
Qualifications:
● Ability to operate light & medium equipment, heavy trucks, tractor mowers, and other equipment
● Familiar with street operations
● Knowledge of the mechanical operation of diesel and gas-powered construction equipment
● Ability to frequently lift up to 80 pounds
● Ability to work well with others
● Ability to follow directions
● Valid Nebraska driver’s license – CDL a plus

Temporary Seasonal Workers: Parks and Recreation, Street
The City of Lexington Park and Recreation Departments are now taking Applications for Part-time Summer Help. Positions fill fast and training begins in the spring, so get your application in right away! Applications will be accepted until Friday, February 23, 2018. Positions available include:
● Concession Workers (age 14+)
● Lifeguards (age 15+)
● Park Maintenance (age 16+)
● Street Maintenance (age 16+)
